Jason Harrison

Jason Harrison co-owns Present Tense Fitness in Dayton, Ohio, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a United States Weightlifting Level 1 coach, and a Functional Range Conditioning mobility specialist. His studio trains dancers seeking to elevate their performance and build resilience against potential injury as well as general population clients. Jason is a member of the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science.

While the rest of the world obsesses over unrealistic body ideals or simply accepts poor health, Melanie Redd, Patrick Coyne, Tajuan Stoker, and Jason Harrison use the concept of Sports Performance to discuss how training for a strong body and mind (instead of training for a “specific body type”) is an emerging approach in the fitness world. Join us as we go deep into the world of Optimal Performance and discuss how physical and mental health can be achieved by embracing the body you were meant to have.
