Jon Clinthorne, Ph.D. received his doctorate in Human Nutrition from Michigan State University for his work focusing on diet and immune function. He then completed his post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Colorado, Denver Anschutz Medical Campus where he studied the role of the gut microbiota in the development of graft-versus-host disease following bone marrow transplantation. Now at The Simply Good Foods Company, Jon works to accurately communicate the beneficial physiological effects of low-sugar and low-carbohydrate diets on obesity, diabetes, and overall health.
